Trail of Ten Falls: Hike Review
I drove from Portland to Trail of 10 Falls to explore the beautiful scenery and capture footage of the waterfalls. This was the first time I had been to this location. A great day hike near Portland! It was the first real hike of the year for me six months into 2020 due to the lockdown. I started around 10am and there were about 20 cars in the south parking lot. Bring $5 cash if you want to park in the North trailhead. Plenty of folks out on the trail and some tight spaces, so a good idea to pack a mask as well.
Trail Recommendations:
I hiked this on June 8, 2020, and conditions were generally quite good. A little mud on the trail, and lots of people by the time I got back to my car at 3pm.
I recommend bringing bug spray, some snacks, and starting as early as possible so you can beat the crowds. I went in clockwise direction so I could see the most waterfalls towards the beginning of the day with less people around.
