I lead product messaging initiatives, driven by data and backed by qualitative experience directly with our target audiences. I surface product feedback to the product team, and serve as the conduit between product, marketing, engineering and customers. I also manage brand positioning, art direction, design, and messaging for the business.

Founding Brand & Product Manager

At Empowered Education, I became the first brand manager for the Functional Nutrition Alliance and Nutritious Life brands. This role encompasses the entire brand experience, from defining our content strategies, developing content for organic marketing efforts, ensuring paid media upholds brand integrity, developing our web presence and experience, and also extends to product management, where I strategize and help develop new products, align the team on priorities, and lead agile cross-functional squads taking our business into new markets. I serve as the connective tissue between departments, facilitating collaboration and communication, and ensure clarity on new projects and initiatives.

Creative Producer

I produced the 15 Minute Matrix podcast, an award-winning show bringing 15 minutes of information-packed conversation from the best minds in health and nutrition twice a week. I edited, mixed and mastered each show, created the release schedule, syndicated each episode, connected guests with promotion packages, produced episode recordings, and led the podcast team to guide the future of the show. Since I joined the show in early 2020, we have more than tripled the amount of downloads, and have expanded our listen-through rate to over 80%. We have a rating of 4.8 stars on Apple Podcasts, and consistently rank in the top nutrition podcasts worldwide with millions of downloads.

Studio Wild is my freelance persona, where I pursue a variety of projects related to my skills, including audio production, video production, photography, creative direction, website development, and copywriting. I seek clients that can benefit from my unique blend of experience in multiple fields, as well as my background in content strategy and creation.

One Hundred Seconds

Producer and Project Manager

At One Hundred Seconds I took on the roles of project manger, producer, and assisted in every facet of the business operation and video production process. My primary role was facilitating seamless video production shoots, which included creating client pitches, aligning on project vision and creation, facilitating all client communication, assisting with cinematography, lighting, creative direction, post-production, color grading, and final delivery of each project. Additionally, I overhauled the project management system to streamline processes, upgraded the digital portfolio and website for the company, and transitioned internal apps and software to be fully cloud-based and scalable, positioning the company to grow and take on projects of more complexity and impact. I took the lead on creating an ecologically sustainable approach to film production, reflecting the company's commitments as a B Corp and 1% for the Planet member.

Marketing Coordinator

As a Digital Marketing Coordinator at Scout Books I was responsible for developing all in-house content. I grew top-of-funnel activities through online advertising, SEO, writing case studies, tutorials, and interviews for our blog. I engaged with our audience by writing and developing our newsletter, and publishing daily on social media, where I doubled the company’s follower counts across social media. I spearheaded a new initiative into podcast advertising, which included audio production as well as script writing, writing ad copy, editing audio segments, and finding aligned podcasts to partner with. My efforts helped lead Scout Books to several of its most profitable quarters ever, doubled our total audience reach through organic content, and helped us find some of our most valuable partnerships.
